Governor Gladson Cameli participated, this Sunday (7), the civic-military parade in front of the Rio Branco Palace, which this year gained a special structure to receive the acrean population. Stands were set up to give the public more comfort, which filled the space to accompany the ceremony.

The event was attended by military schools, as well as the army troops parade, navy, aeronautics, military police and fire brigade, which marked in honor of Brazil’s independence. Prior to the ceremony, Cameli greeted the troops, reinforcing the government’s respect and partnership with security and defense forces.
In his speech, the governor highlighted the importance of the date. “First, thank God, for being here in this celebration of September 7th. It is a message that I have always spoken every year, which is of hope, so that we can increasingly protect our sovereignty, our democracy, which was a great victory that we all have achieved throughout these 230 years of independence, so that we can increasingly take care of this diamond that is Brazil,” he said.
Cameli also stressed the patriotic feeling of the Acre people. “Here I belong to the state of Acre, which is a totally patriotic state, and this is where you see in the countenance of these people the hope of better days,” he said.

Finally, the governor highlighted the role of public managers and institutions. “It is up to me as governor and all representatives of forces, powers, we fulfill what is in the Constitution, which is to improve people’s lives and give the right to come,” he added.
