Norway begins vote on fierce parliamentary election

The Norwegians went to the polls this Sunday (7) for the first of two days of voting in the parliamentary election. The dispute is fierce between a left block led by the current labor party and a right -wing block led by the Progress Party and conservatives.

At least nine political parties are expected to win seats in parliamentary elections that end on Monday night (8), but only the leaders of the three main parties are candidates for prime minister.

The main themes of the campaign included the cost of living, taxation and public services. O, as well as in the management of Norway’s $ 2 billion sovereign fund.

Cost of living and financial issues were central to the campaign, with food inflation at 5.9% in the last 12 months.

The research showed that the economy, jobs and taxes are also great priorities for voters.

While the Labor Party defends stable taxes, some of its allies seek rigid rates for the rich, with the aim of financing tax cuts for low -income families and expanded public services.

Both the center-right progress and conservatives defend great tax cuts.
