Stuttgart – The Vienna Vikings missed their second title in the European League of Football (Elf). The team of head coach Chris Calaycay lost the championship game against Stuttgart Surge 17:24 (17:14) on Sunday before 36,784 spectators in the Stuttgart MHP-Arena. For the Viennese it was the second defeat in the final in a row, last year the shorter one had taken off in the final against Rhein Fire. It was the first league title for the surf in the “Finale Dahoim”.
