After a September 7 holiday marked by the “sovereign Brazil”, by the federal government, the president used social networks to reinforce the speech. In X, Lula wrote: “Brazil has side. That of the Brazilian people.”
“This September 7, we reaffirm our commitment to a sovereign and independent Brazil. A Brazil that respects its people and honor its flag,” he added. In the post, the text is followed by a series of publications about the concept of sovereignty, including “the power to decide our future” and “put the people at the center of decisions”.
The president’s first act for this September 7th was one. “We are not and we will not be again of anyone. We are able to rule and take care of our land and our people, without interference from any foreign government. We maintain friendly relationships with all countries, but we will not accept orders from anyone. Brazil has a single owner: the Brazilian people,” he said.
