Singer Bruce Dickinson, 67, said in an interview with TV Globo that he will return to Brazil in 2026 to perform shows with Iron Maiden, a band of which he is a vocalist. The Briton was one of The Town’s second day attractions on Sunday (7), and performed on the Skyline stage.
During the show, the artist also revealed that he is working on a new album and intends to come to Brazil also in 2027 to present a solo show. Dickinson complained to the audience that he had little stage time, as the Paulistano festival shows have an hour long and indicated that, in a solo performance, he could walk more songs from his repertoire.
The Briton celebrated, during the show, the 40th anniversary since the first coming of Brazil, in the first edition of Rock in Rio, in 1985. In all, the band has been here on 15 different opportunities, totaling over 40 different shows. The last pass was in 2024, when they did two shows at Allianz Parque, in the west of São Paulo.
In addition to Bruce Dickinson, the second day of 2025 also had names such as Green Day, CPM 22, Pitty, Iggy Pop, Bad Religion and Capital Initial. The second edition of the festival will resume on Friday (12) and, until Sunday, will bring together backstreet boys caliber stars, Mariah Carey and Katy Perry.
