A 36 -year -old woman from California was rescued on Saturday (6/9), Pigeon River state, north of Michigan, while participating in a survival challenge for YouTube. The participant’s rescue mobilized the Michigan State Police and the Otsego County Sheriff Office.
According to the authorities, the woman had been lost on Friday night (5/9). She was given as missing at 5 am on Saturday, which led to the beginning of the search in the region. Teams with sniffer dogs searched the area.

Trooper 6 crew located the woman around 10:40 am, using the aircraft thermal camera. Police and firefighters entered the woods and removed it safely.
Authorities did not detail the participant’s health, but confirmed that she did not suffer serious injuries.
