The long -awaited “Marty Supreme” It won a debut date in Brazil and a new trailer on Wednesday (10). The title quoted for the Oscar hits Brazilian theaters on the day January 8.
The plot is inspired by the real story of the multiple table tennis player Marty Reisman, notorious gambler who became the oldest athlete to win a national championship in a racket sport.
The film is set in New York, United States, in the 1950s, at which time the athlete, nicknamed “Needle”, had some of his greatest achievements.
The production is starring Timothée Chalamet (“Dune” and “a complete unknown”), Odessa a’zion (“Is everything ok with me?”), Gwyneth Paltrow (“Shakespeare in love”), FR DRANT (“The Nanny”) e Tyler the Creatorwho makes his debut as an actor on the big screen.
The direction is Josh Safdieknown for the dramas “Good Behavior (2017) and” Gross Jewelry “(2020).
