NATO displayed F-35 fighters after the entrance of Russian drones in Poland

F-35 fighters of the allies, especially of the Royal Air Force of the Netherlands, helped Poland to guarantee the security of the Polish sky during him.

The Operational Command of the Armed Forces of Poland indicated in an X message that received the support of the Allied Air Command (AirCom in English) during the operation, as well as the Koninklijke Luchtmacht from the Netherlands, to which it thanked.

It is not the first time that F-35 of allies have to support Poland in defending their airspace since the beginning of the Russian war in Ukraine and the Polish operational command regularly sends planes to the Polish sky during a Russian attack against the western part of the neighboring country.

Polish defenses went to “state of maximum alert”

Poland, which has denounced an “act of aggression” of Russia, used weapons to eliminate some of the unmanical aerial vehicles in Russia last morning and had to close part of the airspace and several airports.

The air defense systems and radar recognition of Poland reached the “state of maximum alert” during the early morning and mobilized the Territorial Defense troops (WOT), a volunteer and reservists service, as well as the police, the border guard and the State Fire Police.

The operation lasted all morning until almost 06.00 GMT. According to Ukrainian president, Volodimir Zelenski, Rusi deliberately alan against Polish territory at least 8 kamikaze shahed drones.
