The operational command of the Armed Forces of Poland has communicated in the early hours of Wednesday that Russia was carrying out “new mass attacks” in Ukraine territory, so it activated all the “necessary procedures” to protect their airspace and the citizens of the border regions. “Poles and allied airplanes [socios de la OTAN] They operate in our airspace, and terrestrial air defense and radar recognition systems have reached the highest level of preparation, ”.
The command pointed out that the maneuvers had a “preventive character.” Only a few minutes before, Ukrainian monitoring channels had indicated that several Russian attack drones had gone through the country’s border and had been demolished by Poles hunting airplanes. This information has not been confirmed by the government in Warsaw or by the Polish army.
According to the Ukrainian air tracking websites, unmanned devices, of the geran type, modification of, first survived the north and west of Ukraine to subsequently cross the border towards the territory of the European Union and the Atlantic Alliance. His first destination, always according to these channels, would have been the Polish city of Zamosc, about 70 kilometers from the border.
