A one -pot dish for a quick dinner for the whole family. Cauldron with chicken and paprika

Cauldron with chicken and paprika It’s the perfect dish for a family dinner. It is not only nutritious, but also very tasty, full of sunny flavors of ripe vegetables. The whole is bathed in aromatic spices that perfectly emphasize the taste of meat and peppers. It is also a great dish for two or three days, prepare more and put it in the fridge, and then rehearse in a few minutes. You can also successfully add the ingredients you have at your disposal mushrooms, tomatoes or zucchini. It all depends on you.

To prepare this recipe, you will need:

  • 700 g chicken breasts,
  • 300 ml of poultry broth,
  • 2 carrots,
  • 1 onion,
  • 1 green pepper,
  • 1 yellow pepper,
  • 1 red pepper,
  • 70 g of tomato concentrate,
  • 1 tablespoon of sweet pepper,
  • ½ teaspoon salt,
  • ½ teaspoon of black pepper,
  • ½ teaspoon of marjoram,
  • ½ teaspoon of basil.

Additionally:

You can serve a ready dish with fresh bread. It will fit here too Rice, porridge, or boiled potatoes.

Finely chop the onion. Grate the carrots on a large grater or mandolin.

Clean the peppers from the seed nests and cut them into thin strips.

Wash the chicken and dry with paper towels. Cut it into pieces the size of one bite or strips. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.

Heat the oil in a large pot. Add chicken and fry it to brown on all sides. Add peppers, carrots and onions. Fry them until tender for a few minutes.

Pour the broth and tomato concentrate. Mix and cook the whole for 10-15 minutes. Season to taste with paprika, basil, marjoram, salt and pepper.

Serve the cauldron with chicken and pepper warm, immediately after preparation. Store the remains in the fridge and use within 3 days. The dish can also be successfully frozen for up to 3 months.
