In the first leg in Curitiba, Corinthians had won 1-0, also with a goal from Gui Negão, an 18 -year -old striker who debuted in the professional in June, totaling ten games and four goals.

In the other quarterfinals game of the Brazilian Cup on Wednesday, Fluminense managed to reverse the advantage of 1-0 built by Bahia at Fonte Nova, a goal by Luciano Juba, with a 2-0 win in Maracanã.
