Just 24 hours after the first window of registration for the draws that will entitle to purchase of World Cup tickets, about 1.5 million fans from 210 countries, have already registered on the FIFA (International Football Federation) tickets.

The World Cup takes place between June 11 and July 19, in the United States, Canada and Mexico. The opening will take place at Azteca Stadium in Mexico City, with the final programmed for Metlife Stadium in New Jersey.

To date, the largest demand has come from fans of the United States, Mexico and Canada headquarters, followed by Argentina, Colombia, Brazil, England, Spain, Portugal and Germany.

The first window of registration for the sweepstakes, intended only for those with Visa cards, will continue open until the 19th, at noon.

The drawn will be notified by email from September 29 and will receive a date and time to buy tickets, starting sales scheduled for October 1st.

A second window for registration will open from October 27 to 31.

Ticket prices range from US $ 60 (R $ 326), in group stage matches, up to $ 6,730 (R $ 36,600), to accompany the final.

“New stages of sale will be opened in the coming months, ensuring all fans opportunities to register,” said FIFA. “Those who are not eligible for pre-sale Visa, are not successful in the draw or want to purchase additional entries will have new chances in the next steps.”

First edition with 48 selections —16 more than at Qatar, in 2022 – the World Cup will have 104 matches, with the teams divided into 12 groups with four teams each. The first two of each key advances, with the 32 selections, facing the knockout matches.

According to FIFA, tickets for individual games for all 104 matches will be available when sales start, along with specific tickets per stadium and selection.

The United States will house 78 games, distributed in 11 cities. Canada, in two cities, and Mexico, in three, will receive 13 matches each.

To date, 18 teams are confirmed in the World Cup. In addition to the three hostesses, 15 reached their vacancies through the qualifying disputes. The Brazilian team secured its place in June.

There is still no definition of the selections headquarters.

The group stage draw is scheduled for December 5 in Washington.
