Czech Prime Minister Petr Fiala condemned the murder of influential American conservative activist Charlie Kirk on Thursday on Thursday. According to Fiala, politics should be a clash of opinions and not a place for violence, says TASR.

“The murder of Charlie Kirk is a disgusting crime. He needs to be clearly condemned, no matter what we think of his attitudes. Politics should be a clash of opinions and ideas, but we must never accept violence in a democratic society. That would be the beginning of the end of democracy and freedom, ”wrote the Prime Minister of the Czech Government.

The right -wing youth activist Kirk was the director and co -founder of the Conservative Youth Organization entitled Turning Point USA and the prominent ally and supporter Trump. Although he did not hold the elected function, it had a significant influence in the conservative policy at the local level, he moderated the popular podcast and was watched on social networks by millions of people.

Kirk succumbed to his injuries after a hitherto unknown perpetrator, who is still on the run, shot him on Wednesday during a speech at an event at the Utah University.
