The Minister of (Supreme Federal Court) provoked his colleague during defending Lieutenant Colonel for attempted abolition of the Democratic Rule of Law and A, as the former President (PL), in the same accusation.
Fux had been reading his vote for several hours on Wednesday night (10) when, before a break at the session, he was questioned by Dino. The interpellation began the following dialogue:
Dino: Have you ever voted?
Fux: I already voted.
Dino: Already?
Fux: No, I already voted.
Dino: Acquitting or condemning? Why…
Fux: Condemning.
Dino: A crime? Two? Three?
Fux: A crime [Fux sorri].
Dino: Thanks. So is it condemning Mauro Cid and acquitting others? Just for me to understand.
Fux: No, it’s not over yet.
Dino: Oh ok, thanks.
Then the session was paused. On the way back, Fux voted for, Military and former Minister of Government Bolsonaro, for the abolition of the Democratic Rule of Law. With Fux’s decision, the first class has a majority to condemn Braga Netto and Cid for the same crime.
Earlier, the minister had voted for acquitting Jair Bolsonaro from all accusations made by the PGR (Attorney General’s Office). In addition, also a military man and former minister Augusto Heleno was recommended by Fux.
The Prosecutor’s Office accused the defendants being tried this week of five crimes: armed criminal organization, violent abolition of the Democratic Rule of Law, coup d’état, damage qualified to public assets and deterioration of listed heritage.
