The Emir do Qatar, Check Mohammed bin Abdulrahman al Thani, said on Wednesday, 10, that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, “killed any hope” of releasing the hostages held in the Gaza Strip by attacking Hamas leaders in Doha the day before.
“I was meeting one of the hostage families on the morning of the attack,” said Al Thani, in an interview with CNN. “I think with what Netanyahu did yesterday (Tuesday), he just killed any hope for these hostages.”
Al Thani will participate on Thursday, 11, a meeting of the United Nations Security Council (UN) to discuss the attack.
