Francielle Mattos announced on the morning of Thursday (11) that will not compete in this year’s edition of Olympia. Three consecutive champion of the Wellness tournament, Paraná’s bodybuilder wrote on social networks that “the body and mind” asked her for a “necessary pause”.
“To say that I will not be present in 2025 brings me a huge sadness, because my soul as an athlete always dreams of doing my best every season. But this year the body and mind asked me for a necessary pause. I had to turn my eyes to what I supported everything I built: my health, my family and also the new projects that are being born and that demand a lot from me,” says the professional athlete.
In the note, Francielle also points out that “being a champion goes beyond trophies. It is also knowing how to recognize the moment of breathing, to take care and continue to build with love and purpose.”

After building an overwhelming career in the Amateur League, since Wellness was not yet in the Professional League of the International Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness (IFBB), Francielle was professionalized and won the first edition of Olympia that featured the category, still in 2021. Later, two more titles. At Olympia 2024, she was dethroned by Isa Pereira Nunes and got second place.
The expectations of fans and experts for the Olympia 2025 Wellness category were that possibly there would be a triple fight for the title, with Eduarda Bezerra arriving at the two athletes who, until then, occupied the top of the category.
In addition to Olympia’s three titles, the 39 -year -old bodybuilder also won a title of Arnold Classic Ohio, the planet’s second most important competition in this sport.
