Ramon Rocha Queiroz, Dino, is one of the main favorites to win the Olympia title – the most importantor of world bodybuilding that will take place between October 9 and 12 in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States – in the Classic Physique category in 2025. In a press conference last weekend, the Acrean spoke about his preparation for the championship.
“The expectations are the best possible, I’m very quiet. I am very confident in the work we did and the evolution we had,” says the bodybuilder. Asked about his biggest difficulty in the competition, he jokingly replied that it will be “speaking English.”
Ramon Dino’s confidence is due, among many other factors, to his weight. Currently, the athlete is about 108 kg, ie 5 kg more than his limit to the category. Given that a month before this year’s edition of Olympia, he shows optimism to reach 103 kg without much sacrifice.
“I’ve had a hard time hitting the weight, but in this preparation we are having a lot of tranquility. Currently, it’s very quiet. Everything is fitted, the physique has responded very well. I think there will be no difficulty at all.”
Mystery
Last week, Dino announced that he would not reveal his physique until the day of the competition. The professional bodybuilder had already opted for this strategy in Olympia 2023, the year that presented his best version on the stage. Asked, he claims that this is just “a choice”.
“I think that, throughout the year, we have already shown all the work that was done in terms of training, poses, diet … I like to leave this taste of doubt: ‘How is Ramon’s physique?’ I like to generate this mystery, he explains.
Finally, the acrean shows that he will not give his opponents easy, who are also looking for the throne left by Chris Bumstead at the end of last year: “I’m sure it will work.”
