FBI director Kash Patel announced that the suspect of Charlie Kirk’s murder was arrested.
“The suspect of today’s terrible shooting, who has taken Charlie Kirk’s life, is now in custody. We thank Utah’s local and state authorities for their collaboration with the FBI,” Patel wrote at X.

However, there seems to be some confusion between the FBI and the governor of Utah, who says that those who are detained is “a person of interest” and not the real killer.
According to the authorities, there is only certainty that it was only a shooter and a shot shot.
