United States Secretary Howard Lutnick said on Thursday that the country should close new business agreements with Switzerland and Taiwan. “Tariffs are in yielding $ 40 billion a month and helping to reduce our deficit,” Lutnick added in an interview with CNBC.
He gave no details about the understandings, however.
Lutnick also pointed out that an agreement with South Korea has not yet been signed, and that the documentation “remains pending”.
He also pointed out that US President Donald Trump will “make agreements with nations for workers. He will get short -term training visas” in the country.
The US Secretary of Commerce also designed that the country’s GDP growth by 2026 will be over 4%.
In addition, he pointed out that the first quarter of next year will be “great” for construction jobs.
