“Parliament approved the departure of the President of the Republic to Germany to go to a hamburgers festival. On the account of our taxes. Do you think this normal? Does the Portuguese not revolt?”, Read in a message published by the President of arriving on social network X.
In a video posted on Instagram, in which he appears with a document in hand, André Ventura makes the same accusation, referring to the meeting Bürgerfest as being “A hamburgers festival”, When it is actually a citizens’ feastin the Portuguese translation, held at the Presidential Palace gardens in Berlin.
“The arrival voted against, as evident. This is a bandalheira. But you know why this is going through, do you know why things go through? Because you don’t know about it. You don’t revolt with this because you don’t know,” adds André Ventura.
As with the social network X, also in the video published on Instagram the president of the arrival associates the head of state to Germany, for an alleged hamburgers festival, to a damage to Portuguese taxpayers and comments: “Tell me how ridiculous it is, how stupid this is.”
