Two men invaded the Christ the Redeemer e They jumped from parachutes from the monument’s handin Rio de Janeiro, on the morning of Wednesday (10).
The scene was caught by a tour guide that accompanied a group and filmed the ride with a drone. In the images, one of the men appears sitting on the right arm of the monument before jumping.

Police investigates crime against cultural heritage
The Military Police were fired after, but the suspects were not found.
In a statement, the press office of the Christ the Redeemer Sanctuary reported that it registered the case at the 7th DP (Santa Teresa) as crime against cultural heritagesince the place belongs to the Archdiocese of Rio de Janeiro.
The investigators requested the Safety cameras images and an expertise will be held at the sanctuary. The inquiry is still in progress to identify those involved.
