The shooter who killed Pró-Trump activist Charlie Kirk, 31, remains at large, after a “targeted attack,” police said at Utah Valley University campus in the US state of Utah.
It is believed that only one person is involved in the attack, Governor Spencer Cox said, who called Kirk’s death “a political murder.”
President Donald Trump described the supporter’s death as a “” and blamed the “radical left” rhetoric for causing political violence.

Directed attack
Kirk was shot dead while speaking at an event at Utah Valley University, a public university in the city of Orem. The shooter once fired, according to Utah’s Public Security Department Commissioner Beau Mason, who said he was “an attack aimed at an individual.”
The department believes the shot came out of the roof of a building.
Last moments

Trump’s reaction
The president of the United States expressed “pain and anger” by Kirk’s death in a video recorded directly to the camera in the Oval Hall. “Charlie inspired millions and, tonight, everyone who knew him and loved him are united in shock and horror,” Trump said in the four -minute video.

Kirk frequently traveled to universities, speaking and answering questions from the audience, in conversations that often resulted in viral videos. The presentation of his in Utah was the first of a return tour by 14 American cities.
