Turning Point USA co -founder, mobilized young conservatives; was killed at 31 at a university event
Activist Charlie Kirk, in the United States on Wednesday (10.Set.2025) at the University of Vale de Utah, in Orem, was one of the most well -known conservative activists in the country.

Born in Arlington Heights, about 300 km from Springfield, the capital of Illinois, Kirk grew in Prospect Heights, in the Metropolitan Region of Chicago, the main city of the state.

The organization played an important role in the election of (Republican Party) in 2024, helping to record tens of thousands of new voters.
Kirk built a close relationship with and his family. He visited the White House several times and even traveled with the president’s son to Greenland, amid the debate on a possible acquisition of Danish territory by the US.
Evangelical Christian cited family and faith often in his speeches. Also presented a talk show Daily, distributed as podcast and radio program, about 3 hours long.
Between 2018 and 2024, he published 4 books. The best known is “The MAGA Doctrine: The Only Ideas That Will Win the Future” (2020), who has Trump on the cover and is sold on platforms like the best seller do New York Times.
He traveled universities across the country, where he participated in lectures, debates and initiatives aimed at students.
He was shot around his neck during an event at the University of Vale de Utah in Orem, about 60 km from Salt Lake City.
At the time of the murder, he answered questions about mass shootings and armed violence. The shooting came from a building located about 200 meters from the area where he led to students and members of the academic community.
Kirk the possession of weapons, which he considered fundamental to individual freedom. He has even said: “It is worth having the cost of, unfortunately, some weapons deaths every year so that we can maintain the second amendment.”
According to the US Federal Police, the shooter is in custody. He was not named.
