A 22 -year -old, Tyler Robinson, is alleged to be the perpetrator of a cold -blooded victim while his ally was talking to the world at a university in Utah on Wednesday (10/9/25).
The suspect is currently in custody, Utah Spencer Cox told reporters.
“We have him,” Cox told reporters.
The suspect, identified as Tyler Robinson, confessed to a family friend – or “hints that he committed the murder” to this friend – and this person in turn contacted the Washington County County office yesterday.
A family member who answered researchers’ questions said that Robinson had become more politicized lately and was talking in a derogatory way about Kerk, Cox told reporters.
“The suspect for the murder of Charlie Kerk has been identified as the 22 -year -old Tyler Robinson,” the Daily Mail said of the crime with Kirk’s victim in Utah. A few minutes earlier, himself.

“I hope to be punished with the death penalty,” Donald Trump characteristically, for the man allegedly assassinated conservative Charkeli Kerk, who was his supporter. The US president called Kerk “the best person” while downplaying the perpetrator.
“What he did to Charlie Kerk was the best man who was not worth it. He worked so hard and so well that everyone liked him, ”he said.
Donald Trump said in an interview that Utah’s ruler, Spencer Cox, has stated that he will seek the death penalty for Kerk’s shooter. “In Utah, they have the death penalty and you have a very good ruler there,” Trump said. “The ruler, I have met him, is very determined to be the death penalty in this case.”
As Donald Trump revealed, the suspect was handed over to the police. Later, CNN reported that the man confessed to his father and he in turn alerted the police.
Asked if Kerk’s shot was a “isolated”, isolated case, Donald Trump said “it seems to be”.
The president also said he had not watched a video of Kerk’s death after many clips from the Kerk shooting on Utah Valley University on social media.
