The Polish Prime Minister described the disturbance of the airspace as a deliberate act. The incident with drones during the attacks on Ukraine commented on the safety of Poland.

Poland’s airspace disruption was not a mistake, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk said on Friday. According to AFP, he refused the claim of US President Donald Trump, who claims that this incident could have occurred inadvertently. According to the AFP report, TASR reports this.

“We also wish that the drone attack was mistakenly. But it wasn’t. And we know it,” Tusk wrote on Social Network X.

Trump said on Thursday that the disturbance of the airspace of Poland could have occurred by mistake. This disruption occurred on Wednesday night during the attacks of Russian forces on neighboring Ukraine. Polish radars captured dozens of objects, some of which were shot down as a potential threat. Belarusians and Belarusians have also pointed out the upcoming drones before.

The US President’s claim was also rejected by Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski. “No, it wasn’t a mistake,” he wrote on X.

Moscow’s reaction

Moscow denies that it would focus on Poland. At the same time, he claims that there is no evidence that drones that disrupted the Polish airspace were really Russian.

The head of Polish diplomacy Sikorski on Friday arrived in Kiev for security negotiations. Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha posted a photograph on social networks from the welcome of the Polish counterpart at the railway station in Kiev.

“Against the background of Russia’s escalation towards Ukraine and provocations against Poland, we are firmly standing together,” Sybiha said. “Today we will conduct fundamental talks about our common security, the entry of Ukraine into the EU and NATO and the pressure on Moscow,” added the Ukrainian minister.
