Former President Jair Bolsonaro (PL )’s allies and lawyers assess that health issues may influence the decision of Minister Alexandre de Moraes, the Supreme Court (STF), to maintain house arrest. The expectation is based on precedents and the current physical condition of the former president. The investigation is by analyst Jussara Soares in CNN Prime Time.
Bolsonaro has been under house arrest since August 4, after determination of Moraes due to alleged non -compliances, related to his performance in the United States.
The defense should present as main arguments Bolsonaro’s medical history, including the sequelae of the stab suffered in 2018, such as the age.
The group near Bolsonaro compares A, which obtained house arrest at the age of 75 in a Lava Jato process, after presenting medical certificates proving specific health conditions.
The evaluation of the allies also considers that the change in the home regime to prison in a prison unit for a short period could generate political interpretations on the magistrate’s performance. The possibilities of detention places would include the Federal Police, prison of Papuda or, in a more remote hypothesis, a military unit.
