Confident, Calderano opened the fourth set of 3/01, forcing the German to ask for time, but only scored when the Brazilian won 6-0. Hugo took advantage of the good time, unleashed and won the partial 11/3.
Calderano came out in the fifth set by 3/1, but lost concentration and Franziska took the lead 5-4. The German took advantage of the Brazilian mistakes and, more intense in the duel, expanded the advantage to 8/4, closing the set on 11/4.
Franziska grew up in the match, contained the Brazilian’s onslaught and opened 4/1 advantage on the sixth set, but Hugo Calderano reacted, turned the scoring and opened an advantage on 10/6 and took advantage of his match points to close on 11/8 and confirm the victory.
