The Minister of Health, just began a visit to the president’s visit to the University Hospital of Brasilia (), to accompany a day of effort to care for the population held by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Health. The ministers (education) and the president of Ebserh, Arthur Chioro are also present.
At the beginning of the event, Padilha showed an institutional video. The visit has an online broadcast of five other hospitals that hold the task force, in Belo Horizonte (MG), São Luís (MA), Belém (PA), Goiânia (GO) and Curitiba (PR).
The action is entitled “Ebserh in Action – now has specialists” and occurs in partnership with the Brazilian Company of Hospital Services, in what the government calls the day E. The initiative is promoted in 45 federal university hospitals of the EBSERH network, with the involvement of undergraduates and residents.
Still, the action involves 29,000 procedures in, including 22,700 exams, 4,500 consultations and 1,900 elective surgeries, in specialties such as oncology, cardiology, orthopedics, ophthalmology and women’s health. In Brasilia, there are 852 procedures, with the involvement of 170 professionals.
According to the government, to participate in care, it is necessary to be in care in university hospitals and fit the priority criteria, or to be referred by the Municipal or State Regulation Center.
The program now has experts was launched by the Ministry of Health to reduce queues and waiting time in the Unified Health System. According to information from the federal government, Ebserh has already promoted 47 joint efforts in the country by 2025.
