Event of the “Now Has Experts” program is held simultaneously in 45 university hospitals; In DF, Ministers Padilha and Santana are part of the action
The President (PT) participates this Saturday (13.Set.2025), from 10am, a joint effort of the program “”, SUS (Unified Health System), at the hub (University Hospital of Brasilia), in Brasilia (DF).
The action, which is performed simultaneously in 24 states and DF, aims to perform more than 29,000 exams, consultations and surgeries in 45 university hospitals. In Brasilia, accompanying the joint effort alongside Lula the Ministers of Health, (PT), and Education, (PT), as well as Arthur Chioro, president of (Brazilian Hospital Services Company).

The so -called “day and” intends to perform 1,900 elective surgeries, 22,700 exams and procedures, plus 4,400 queries.
According to the federal government, reinforcing joint efforts is one of the strategies of “now experts”, which aims to expand the population’s access to specialized services, reducing the waiting time in the public network.
The program also involves that they have tax debts with the Union.
The focus of the task force is in the priority areas of “now experts”: Oncology, Gynecology, Cardiology, Ophthalmology and Otorhinolaryngology.
