Spittal an der Drau-The search for a 62-year-old, gradual German mountaineer in the Ankogel area in Carinthia, had to be canceled unsuccessfully on Saturday. This was announced by the police on Saturday evening. From 6.30 a.m. to 4 p.m. 39 mountain rescuers and six alpine police officers had searched the man. On Monday, the German broke up alone for a mountain tour from the Hanoverhaus in Mallnitz with the destination Ankogel and Ali-Lanti-Biwak in the Malta municipality (Spittal district on the Drau).
