Brazil goes to the court this Saturday (13) to compete in the Davis Cup against Greece. After the match between João Fonseca and Stefanos Sakellaridis, it will be Thiago Wild’s turn to make his debut against Stefanos Tsitsipas. The match will take place shortly after the Fonseca game, and will be broadcast by Cazé TV.
In addition to Wild and Fonseca, Brazil also has Matheus Pucinelli, Rafael Matos and Marcelo Melo in this Davis Cup. Matos and Melo will play together in the doubles matches.
Greece has the duo Sakellaridis and Tsitsipas, as well as Petros Tsitsipas, brother of Stefanos, who will play in pairs.
The winning team will secure a place in the competition qualifying in 2026, a phase that precedes the final stage of the tournament.
