A police officer from the Customs Immigration and Control Service (ICE) killed an illegal immigrant in Chicago on Friday after the man dragged him with his car while trying to escape, authorities said. Violent incidents between the agents of the armed ICE agents, and undocumented immigrants are relatively rare.
According to the National Security Department, the man “threw his car against agents” during a traffic approach. “One of the agents of Ice was hit by the car and dragged by a specific distance. Fearing for his life, the agent fired his gun,” said the statement.
According to the authorities, the man who tried to stop was “a criminal illegal foreigner with reckless direction” who had entered the United States “in unknown data and time.” Chicago is one of the cities in the Trump government’s sights for his condition as a sacred city. His authorities refused to collaborate with the control and deportation plans of the Republican agent.
Trump reiterated on Friday that his intention is to send to the National Guard to combat this situation in the largest city of Illinois, as part of his plans to face criminal violence in the country’s large cities, governed mostly by Democrats.
