Growing in a suburb of Utah, Tyler Robinson, suspected of killing the influencer Charlie Kirkhe seemed to be in a promising path: he had a united family and got good grades on evidence, according to social media posts.

After graduating in high school in 2021, he filmed a video proudly reciting a letter from offering him a four-year-old scholarship.

But Robinson left the state school after just one semester, took a license and never returned.

Now authorities are working to understand what happened in the following years that took Robinson to the roof where he allegedly shot the conservative activist this week.

The murder led to distressed recriminations throughout the political spectrum of the United States.

While police are still investigating the murder, theAuthorities pointed out what they described as anti -fascist messages recorded in bullets of a rifle found near the deadly shooting site as possible evidence of political motivation.

One of the bullets had the inscription “Hey, fascist! Take it!” -A message that Utah’s governor, Spencer Cox, said on Friday “talk for itself”.

A family farm from Robinson told investigators that the alleged shooter “had become more political in recent years” and, in particular, had attacked Kirk at a recent family dinner, Cox said.

But messages in bullet capsules also included a mixture of memes and video game allusions, suggesting a deep immersion in an online world Irony, where meanings can be difficult to decipher accurately.

These messages included a series of arrows representing the controls used to perform an attack on the Helldivers 2 video game and lyrics of a popular Italian song linked to anti -fascists – but also more recently popularized in another game, Far Cry 6, and a Netflix series.

People who met Robinson described different memories of their political inclinations.

An electrician who worked with Robinson in a project just a few weeks ago – and asked not to be identified, just like others who talked about Robinson, due to the sensitivity of the situation – described his colleague as a shy figure who “did not talk unless someone drove the word.”

Robinson “didn’t talk much about politics … unless someone mentioned the subject,” said the electrician, adding that “he didn’t like Trump or Charlie (Kirk).”

But a few years ago, in high school,-just like his family-was politically conservative and supported President Donald Trump before the 2020 elections, one of Robinson’s former classmates told CNN.

“When I met him and his family, they were like the fanatic Trump,” said the former classmate. “When this happened, I thought … I don’t know what changed.”

Voter registration records show that Robinson is currently registered to vote without being affiliated with any party, although he has never voted, said Washington County Registrar in a statement.

The former classmate described Robinson as someone “very, very in love with games” and interested in video game design. Robinson and his friends “spent lunch playing cards and all this kind of things,” he said.

Robinson was “quiet all the time” and “a little silly,” said the colleague, adding that he didn’t remember making him worrying statements or if he got into trouble. “It was fun to be close to him, it was fun to talk to him. He was just a little shy and didn’t open very often.”

Now, people who knew Robinson are having difficulty reconciling their image with them.

After 33 hours of hunting by a team of federal and local authorities and appeals to public assistance, a police officer said to CNN Which was Robinson’s family that helped organize his capture after his father recognized him in photos released by the FBI.
