Woman crashed around 40 meters in the Tyrolean Ötztal

Sölden – In Sölden (Imst district), a car driver with her vehicle strayed from the Hochsölden municipal road at around 8.40 a.m. and crashed around 40 meters over a steep meadow. According to the police, the 24-year-old German may have been careless. The car came to a standstill on a mountain bike trail and made an automatic emergency call via “E-Call”. The woman was injured and flown to the hospital in Zams by rescue helicopter. (APA, 13.9.2025)
