Spielberg-Mercedes driver Lucas Auer lost his overall DTM lead with a twelfth place in Spielberg on Saturday. After the first of two races in the home game on the Red Bull Ring, the Tyrolean is now two points behind the victorious German Rene Rast (BMW). Porsche pilot Thomas Preining, DTM champion from 2023, can also have hopes after a sixth place as the overall fifth with a gap of eleven points.
