Düsseldorf-In the local elections in the largest German state of North Rhine-Westphalia, a victory of the governing CDU is emerging. According to a first forecast by Infratest Dimap, which was published at the same time to close the polling stations at 6 p.m., the CDU from Prime Minister Hendrik Wüst comes to 34 percent (2020: 34.3 percent), the second -placed SPD would earn 22.5 percent (24.3).
