Two people died and another person suffered injuries on Saturday’s explosion of an explosive facility on the railway line in the Russian Oriol region. This was announced by the local governor Andrej Klyčkov, TASR reports according to AFP and Sin-Chua reports.
The emperles on the social network Telegram wrote that the situation is under control and the search for perpetrators is in progress. The explosion occurred during the control of the track and, according to the state rail transport, caused a delay of at least ten train connections to the southern part of Russia. The governor of the neighboring Kursk region specified that the victims of the explosion were members of the Russian National Guard.
In recent months, the railway network in Russia has repeatedly affected fires, explosions and other incidents attributed to Sabotage activities by Kiev. Ukraine usually does not officially comment on these alleged attacks, but often welcomes them on the grounds that Russia is using the railway to move soldiers and fuel to the front line.
