Remote work on a part-time basis continues to gain strength by 2025. With shorter and flexible times, it is becoming an increasingly sought after solution by those who need to complement performance or look for greater balance between personal and professional life.
According to the Executive Digest, which analyzed the latest data available, the sectors with the largest number of opportunities in this format are education and training, medicine and health, as well as project management.
The survey was based on more than 60,000 offers published between January and July this year, all with a common feature: the possibility of working from anywhere with internet access.
Ten features highlighted
Among the fastest growing remote professions this year stand out those linked to health and counseling, but also creative and administrative areas. At the top of the list are licensed therapist, career consultant and nurse.
Soon after, functions such as graphic designer, translator, administrative assistant and customer service representative.
Already in the field of digital communication and content production, the functions of writer, video editor and marketing specialist stand out.
According to the same publication, all these positions fall into the middle period format, with a workload located between 30 and 35 hours per week, allowing greater freedom in organizing the working day.
Growth compared to 2024
The numbers also show a clear evolution against last year. The areas of mental health, project management and administrative functions have a 27% growth in part-time remote employment offers since 2024.
The trend is confirmed in response to increased demand for more flexible work models. For many workers, it is a way to reinforce the family budget, while others face these functions as an opportunity for transition to new professional areas.
According to the market, the market points out that remote part-time work continues to expand in the coming months, consolidating itself as a solid alternative to full time traditional employment.
