Sesc Vila Mariana receives this Wednesday (17) and Thursday (18) the fourth edition of Anti-Racist Dialogues, a free meeting promoted by the Center for Studies of Labor Relations and Inequalities (CEERT). The event celebrates 35 years of activity of the institution in promoting racial equality, gender and democracy in Brazil.

The opening conference will be the author of the book “The Pact of Branquitude (Companhia das Letras)”.
Also confirmed are filmmaker Joel Zito Araújo, the executive director of MOVER (Racial Equality Movement), Natália Paiva, researcher Antonio Carlos (Billy) Malachias and Professor Kênia Cristina Pereira Silva (IFSP), among others.
“Anti-racist dialogues is an opportunity to highlight the contribution of the black movement to the consolidation of Brazilian democracy. Ceert’s performance connects directly to the struggle for rights and the confrontation to,” says Daniel Bento Teixeira, lawyer and executive director of Ceert.
There will also be musical performances, such as the Samba de Dandara Group and the singer Dudu Nobre.
