Ade São Paulo predicts that, from this Monday (15), the state will face the most critical week of the drought period and will enter into emergency level. According to the agency, the week will be marked by high temperatures and very low relative humidity rates, especially in the Midwest, North, West and Northwest State regions. Due to the forecast situation, the state agency will mobilize, for the first time in the year, the crisis office of the drought period at the Emergency Management Center (CGE) at the Bandeirantes Palace.
Representatives from different state agencies and partners of Fireless Operation, such as the Fire Department, Forest Foundation, Aviation Command of the Military Police, Road and Environmental Police, as well as the State Secretariat of Agriculture, State Secretariat of Environment, Infrastructure and Logistics and Department of Roads.
“We are facing a risk scenario that requires a lot of attention, besides the union of efforts and quick responses. The integrated presence of the institutions allows to save lives, protect the environment and minimize the damage caused by drought,” said State Civil Defense coordinator Colonel Henguel Ricardo Pereira.
