I make a dish as a restaurant regularly. I never liked this ingredient, now I eat regularly

My family rarely ate offal, but everything changed when I tried Balkan liver during vacation in Albania – I loved this taste and recreated it in my kitchen. Try it because this recipe really makes it addicted. It’s an idea for a delicious, healthy dinner.

  • 500 g of calf or lamb liver,
  • 1 red onion,
  • 6 tablespoons of wheat flour,
  • 4 tablespoons of butter,
  • 70 ml of olive oil,
  • 1 handful of parsley,
  • 1 teaspoon of salt,
  • 1 teaspoon of black pepper,
  • 1 teaspoon of minced summary,
  • ½ teaspoon of red pepper.

Cut the liver into medium -sized pieces. Put it in a colander and rinse with very cold water, removing excess blood. Then transfer them to paper towels and dry them very well.

In a clean string bag, mix salt, pepper, flour and peppers. Add liver pieces inside and shake the whole until everything is well covered with a mixture.

Melt the butter in a frying pan. Place the liver on hot fat with one layer so that the meat fry well. After grinding one side, turn the pieces to the other. Do not fry the liver because it can become too hard and gummy.

Cut the onion into slices and mix it with a catfish and chopped parsley. Season with salt.

Place the onion on the plate, and next to it – Balkan liver pieces. Serve the dish hot, immediately after preparation. It tastes best with the addition of baked potatoes.
