The National Drug Unit has broken a drug gang in the east of Slovakia. “Members of the National Drug Unit of the Presidium of the Police Force (PZ) in cooperation with the criminalists from the District Directorate of PZ Humenné and the emergency police department from Prešov last week carried out an action with the code name Kengura. The action was focused on drug crime in the Humenné region”He says.

In addition to a 30-year-old man, they also detained two women aged 26. For personal and house searches, as well as in the car inspection, they secured a larger amount of pervitin, mobile phones and other subjects related to drug trafficking. “A service dog was also used to search for drugs,” the police adds. The accused man is subject to a term of imprisonment of seven to 15 years if proven guilt.
