The Organization of The Town confirmed on Sunday, 14, the third edition of the 2027 festival, also at the Interlagos Race Track in São Paulo. The dates have not yet been defined.
Unlike other major music festivals, such as Lollapalooza, which occur annually, The Town has a biennial calendar. The first edition in Brazil was in 2023 and the second edition ends this Sunday.
The event received 420,000 people this year over five days of programming. The balance considers the tickets sold for the latest shows that take place this Sunday.

More than 500 artists performed in the second edition of the festival. The closing on Sunday was lashed by Katy Perry, Camila Cabello, J Balvin, Ludmilla and Belo.
The mayor of Sao Paulo, Ricardo Nunes (MDB), said he was “very happy” with the confirmation of another edition of The Town in the city.
“Financial movement in the city, full hotels, increased demand at Airbnb. That is, a lot of people coming here to witness this wonderful moment here. I’m super happy,” said Nunes.

The economic impact of the festival this year was $ 2.2 billion, according to the organization of the event.
The rental reservations for season at Airbnb, for example, increased 240% during the event.

Rock in Rio
Rock World, the company that organizes The Town, also confirmed the dates for the next edition of Rock in Rio in 2026. There will be seven days of festival in Rio – 4, 5, 6, 7, 11, 12 and 13 September 2026.
