Judge Andréa Pachá said she was proud to have an independent STF after a decision against former president
The Secretary General of the TSE (Superior Electoral Court) and Judge of the TJ-RJ (Rio de Janeiro Court of Justice), Andréa Maciel Pachá, celebrated on her Instagram profile the conviction of former President Jair Bolsonaro (PL) by the Supreme Court (STF).
The current president of the TSE, Cármen Lúcia, was the vote that consolidated the majority to order Bolsonaro to 27 years and 3 months in prison for attempted coup.
“There is no greater guarantee for those who need justice than to have a magistrate with functional independence, courage and security so as not to undergo pressures or threats. It was exciting to watch, the voices and votes of the ministers Alexandre de Moraes, Cristiano Zanin, Flávio Dino and Minister Cármen Lúcia, republican demonstrations, statements of rights and essential guarantees for the collective experience of humanity and dignity..
In the publication, Andrea said she felt proud of “Counting on an STF that strengthens independence and democracy”.
Bolsonaro Condemned
The 1st class of the Supreme Court ordered Jair Bolsonaro and 7 other defendants on September 11, 2025 for 5 crimes, including attempted coup. Voted for the conviction: (Rapporteur), and (President of the 1st Class).
Luiz Fux was. The minister voted to condemn only and for violent abolition of the Democratic Rule of Law. In the case of the other 6 defendants, the magistrate decided to acquit.
