The United Kingdom has announced that it will receive a group of seriously sick children from the Gaza to receive medical care in the coming weeks.

DAnd according to the BBC Public Radiotelevision, these are the first children to be removed under a government operation led by several ministries, announced in July by British Prime Minister Keir Stmerer.
Speaking to the France-Presse News Agency (AFP), the British Ministry of Health has confirmed the removal of sick children from that zone, who are expected to reach the country “in the coming weeks” accompanied by the “closest family members.”
The Ministry of Health explained that this support arises when “the humanitarian situation continues to leave many people with urgent medical care needs” in Gaza, noting that most hospitals at the Palestinian enclave is no longer operational.
The number of children covered by this operation was not disclosed, but the BBC estimated “between 30 and 50 minors”.
In an interview given Saturday to The Mirror, British Foreign Minister Yvette Cooper announced that a first group of Gaza children was “on their way” from the UK, describing this initiative as “considerable diplomatic work”, and Israel will have to authorize Gaza’s departure.
