Man was accused of murder for negligence
An Italian elderly woman died when she was hit in the courtyard of the house by the body of a neighbor who tried to commit suicide, throwing himself from the porch of the building, 20 meters high, in Milan (north of the country).
According to local media, the 70-year-old man is hospitalized but without life-threatening, and was accused of negligence (involuntary) homicide after launching the fourth floor of the building that shared Francesca Manno, the 83-year-old deadly victim.
Francesca had gone to lay out garbage, according to reports from other neighbors, when she was hit. Despite the intervention ready for medical emergency services, the woman eventually died at the scene.
The man who threw himself suffered several fractures, especially in the legs and feet, but the diagnosis is positive, according to the researchers.
The “Carabinieri” (equivalent to GNR in Portugal), who attended the occurrence, even hypothesized a couple who tried to kill at the same time, but concluded that there was no intimate relationship between them.
