Local health unit that will be rebuilt in the siege

Contests at Carvalhido and Nevogilde (Garcia de Orta/Man do Leme) are open in Porto for the construction of new health centers.
The works will be beginning in January of next year, and also have the reconstruction of one, which will serve as an integrated diagnostic center, as well as shared assistance resources unit. It will be the adaptation of the space that served from EB2/3 pavilions, now vacant.
In all, 4 health centers will be built: Carvalhido and Nevogilde and even in Campanhã and Santos Pousada. In all, the Investment will be around 12.85 million euros. The objective is the construction of health services to respond to almost 90 thousand users.
The City Council tells what “with the root construction of these new buildings, the network of primary health equipment in the city is territorially balancedwith more and better accessibility and comfort conditions, in a model adapted to local needs. ”
In the case of the carvalhido, the building will have two floors and will be located in the Avenida City of Shanghai, on a land with about 1600 m2. The goal is to host 25 600 users. In the case of Santos Pousada, this number can reach 27,000 users.
The largest space will be that of Nevogilde: “The new building will be located at Rua de Sá de Albergaria and Avenida da Boavistaon a land with 4550 m2, and with an deployment area of about 2100 m2. The project provides for the installation of the Garcia de Orta Family Health Unit, the Homem do Leme Family Health Unit and the Shared Assistance Resources Unit. ”It could host 32,000 users.
