Bus manufacturer Marcopolo () announced on Tuesday (16) the resumption of its commercial operations in the European market, with a strategy focused on the bus segment through the Paradiso G8 1200 model.
The decision to return to the continent was motivated by changes in the sector that created a favorable scenario for global suppliers with technical capacity and productive flexibility, according to the company’s executive president, André Armaganijan.
“In this context, Marcopolo has identified a strategic opportunity to offer tailored solutions, with products adapted to the rules and expectations of the European market,” he said in a press release that he did not mention the context of the US trade war, which imposed 50% import tariffs on a large series of Brazilian products.
