Porto Walter already breathes the June climate. The City Hall, through the Municipal Secretariat of Social Assistance, officially presented the 16 young people who will compete in the King and Queen of Corn 2025 titles, in one of the most anticipated moments of the municipality’s cultural programming.
In all, eight women compete for the queen’s range of corn, while eight men vie for King’s post. The contest promises to value not only beauty, but also the sympathy, creativity and cultural identity of the participants, reinforcing the popular tradition that moves the city every year.
The 2025 Corn Festival will be held between September 18 and 20, bringing a diverse program with a lot of music, dance, typical foods and, of course, the choice of the new real couple who will represent the party.
With expectation of great popular participation, the event consolidates itself as one of the most important of Porto Walter’s cultural calendar.
