Milei’s administration intends to sell 44% of the company’s shares, which operates the Plants of Atucha I, Atucha II and Pacalse
Argentina President Javier Milei will sign a decree to partially privatize Nucleoelectric Argentina, the company that operates the three nuclear power plants in the country, said presidential spokesman Manuel Adorni on Tuesday (16).
Milei’s administration intends to sell 44% of the company’s shares, which operates the plants of Atucha I, Atucha II and pack, through international public bidding, added Adorni.
“The idea is to promote private investment to build Argentina’s first modular reactor and boost uranium mining,” he said, adding that all state -owned companies are subject to privatization potential.
